Natural Resource Management: Knowledge, Values and Power

Research on this theme aims at identifying pathways to more sustainable natural resource management – and sustainable development at large – by addressing issues of knowledge production and conflicting values in multi-stakeholder settings. 
Studies are conducted in South America, the Swiss Alps and Central Asia, and with special emphasis on information technologies in East Africa and Southeast Asia.
